Spurred on by my previous victory at ‘the cornflake game’ ( see bottom for complex rules!) 6 years ago, I thought this was going to be an easy victory, little did I know, I was on a Sardinian holiday with a bunch of Contortionists’ (yes i did need to use the spell check for that one!!!).
It was all going so well, until the final round where i was put to shame by our bendy bikers who all seemed to breeze the ‘flat pickup’ showing amazing dexterity with their tongues! (apart from Helen off course who languished in last place with me!!!!

HOW TO PLAY THE CORNFLAKE GAME

1. Book yourself onto a Skedaddle Sardinia coast to coast trip
2. Eat a huge delicious dinner with about 6 courses
3. drink just a little too much of the free red wine
4. Get a cornflake box (other cereals are allowed, though not reccomended, they go soggy don’t you know!)
5. With only your feet touching the floor bend down and pick up the cornflake box with your tongue.
6. If you fail to pick it up your out of the game, sit down and laugh at the people who will have a bad back in the morning!
7. After each round tear off a strip from the top of the Cereal box.
8. Keep going until you finally get to the stage of it just being a flat bit of carboard on the floor.
9. Give a rapturous round of applause to the people who actually manage to lick or suck up the strip of carboard!
10. Seek a Chiropractor for the morning.
