It all started so normally, they all seemed like such nice people but then as we arrived at our Refuge in the Picos a few changes started to happen.
It started subtly with a few people wearing dark shades even though the sun had gone down, then the odd baseball cap being worn back to front, and before we knew what was going on the whole group had turned into a bunch of Crazy rapping mo-fo’s, heres the shocking pictures and lyrics from that fateful night.
Trans Picos Refuge Rapping
Ivan from Bulgaria visits Sardinia…
So finally the day arrived, when Bulgarian guide met Sardinia… Ivan’s arrival in our beloved island did not go unoticed by the locals, as he was welcomed with a now familiar cry to most Skedaddle guides: “UDRI-UINO”!! A cry that has now become part of the local language used by all MTB’s in Sardinia when greeting on the trails…..as well as to frighten the wild boar!
Ivan had the opportunity to meet all the Skedaddle Italia gang. Being in Sardinia, there is no need of an excuse to get together for some good local food and wine! Not to mention the biking!
Ivan left Sardinia for Bulgaria reluctantly, but well provisioned with 2 litres of local red wine, 2 litres of Davide’s home made Olive oil and Pecorino Cheese of course - maybe enough to keep him going for a while, till Skedaddle Italia team meets Ivan in Bulgaria! UDRI-UINO!
Anyone know this person?
I know this guy from some where, can’t remember where? Somewhere up north?

Forget the rest – they aren’t Apache on Skedaddle!
Canyonlands - a bunch of rocks and sand .. well yes but also the destination for yet another group of intrepid Skedaddlers keen to hone their riding/hiking/drinking/altitude acclimatising skills.
To describe a Skedaddle holiday ( sorry - adventure ) involves many superlatives - Canyonlands is no exception!
Baja Bliss
We arrived safely in Mexico, the Baja peninsular to be precise. The first night spent getting to know the other group members some of who were thankfully looking as unfit as me. Day one’s sea kayaking went well but when the Mexican members – including none other than the French Ambassador from Mexico city – and yes we did crack all the jokes possible about dodgy 70’s Ferrero Roche adverts, appeared next morning with their full suspension bikes, walkie talkies, Platypus backpacks and all the proper gear, it was obvious that this was going to be no ordinary holiday.
Morocco - Atlas To Desert
This superb desert biking adventure focuses on the deep south of Morocco, a land of big skies and stark mountain ranges where mud-brick kasbahs appear to rise up out of the desert, sitting in tranquil palm oases and framed by dramatic backdrops of snowcapped mountains. We ride along Morocco’s dirt roads, taking us from Marrakech to the Tichka Pass, the highest in the High Atlas, and then southward, descending along the Draa Valley to the fringes of the Sahara Desert.
